The invitation to the 2016 Grand Prairie Blogging Convention came when I was thinking of quitting my career as a blogger. No creative thoughts were flowing in my mind around that time. I could write paragraphs, but I could not post them because they were written half-heartedly. Hence, the decision to attend the event was like my final adieu to the blogging world.

1. Tune In To Music
The first thing is to switch on your music player and listen to the songs that motivate you to get moving. For some, it’s classical or jazz music. Other people, meanwhile, prefer the meaningful tunes made by their favorite artists to encourage the words to flow. You need to figure out which genre will work for you more.
2. Read An Interesting Book
The speakers in the conference mentioned that immersing yourself in a book can also remove a writer’s block. What I often find helpful is reading the Harry Potter books, which honestly got me dreaming of becoming a writer when I was young. In your case, it can be something that you have always wanted to read but never had time to do so due to your busy schedule.
3. Change Your Location
If both ideas fail to get rid of your mental blockage, you should try leaving your usual writing spot. At times, when you stay in one corner of the room and see the same view, it tends to feel as if your mind is stagnant too. No excitement or decisive action is coming from that. Hence, it may be best to sit in other parts of the house or visit a cafe to get your brain juices running.
